Test of Lepton Universality and Measurement of the Form Factors of D^0→K^* (892)^- μ^+ ν_μ The BESIII collaboration recently reported a test of Lepton Universality and precise measurement of the Form Factors of D0→K* (892)- μ+ νμ based on 7.93 fb-1 data collected at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV. Extracting the femtometer structure of strange baryons using the vacuum polarization effect The BESIII collaboration recently reported a method useful for hyperon-antihyperon pairs of different types which exploits the cross section enhancement caused by the vacuum polarization at the J/ψ resonance, enabling a precise determination of the hyperon structure function. The result has been published in Nature Communications on October 11th, 2024 [Nat. Commun. 15, 8812 (2024)].

First search for four-body Ds+ decays to e+e- final states The BESIII collaboration recently reported the first search for four-body D_s^+ decays to final states including an e+e- pair, based on 7.33 fb-1 data collected in the energy range √s=4.128-4.226 GeV. The results have been published recently in Physics Review Letters on September 17, 2024 [Phys. Rev. Lett. 133, 121801 (2024)].

Strong and weak CP tests in sequential decays of polarized Σ^0 hyperons The BESIII collaboration reported the first pioneering strong-CP test in hyperon decays based on 10 billion J/ψ and 2.7 billion ψ(3686) data. Precise Measurement of Born Cross Sections for e-e+→ DDbar at √s = 3.80 − 4.95 GeV On August 21, 2024, the BESIII collaboration has published an article entitled “Precise Measurement of Born Cross Sections for e-e+→ DDbar at √s=3.80-4.95 GeV” in Physical Review Letters [Phys. Rev. Lett. 133 (2024) 081901], reporting groundbreaking measurements of Born cross sections for the e+e-→ D0D0bar and D+D-bar reactions at 150 center-of-mass energies between 3.80 and 4.95 GeV with unprecedented precision.

First study of antihyperon-nucleon scattering The BESIII collaboration recently reported the first study of antihyperon-nucleon scattering Λbarp→Λbarp with “Λbar beam” from the decay J/ψ→ΛΛbar based on 10 billion J/ψ data. The BESIII Collaboration Discovered a Glueball-like Particle – X(2370) The Beijing Electron Positron Collider II (BEPCII) has recently made a significant achievement. The BESIII experiment at BEPCII performed the first measurements of the quantum numbers of the X(2370) particle, along with its mass, production, and decay properties, and found that they are consistent with the features of a glueball, which has long been the subject of intensive experimental searches. Observation of structures in the processes e+e-→ωχc1 and ωχc2 The BESIII collaboration recently reported the observation of two resonance structures in the processes e+e-→ωχc1 and e+e-→ωχc2.
