  First study of hyperon-nucleon reaction at an electron-positron collider The BESIII collaboration recently reported the first study of hyperon-nucleon reaction Ξ0n→Ξ-p with “Ξ0 beam” from the decay J/ψ→Ξ0 anti-Ξ0 based on 10 billion J/ψ data. This is the first study of hyperon-nucleon interaction in electron-positron collisions, and opens up a new direction for such research. The results have been published recently in Physics Review Letters on June 21, 2023 [Phys. Rev. Lett. 130, 251902 (2023)].

  Precise measurement of the inclusive production of the π^0 and K_S^0 mesons BESIII recently reported its first result of the inclusive production cross sections of the neutral hadrons, i.e., the π0 and KS0 mesons, which has been published in Phys. Rev. Lett. 130, 231901 (2023) on 6 June 2023.

  Precision measurements of hyperon radiative decay Σ+→pγ The BESIII collaboration has reported the first absolute branching fraction and decay asymmetry of Σ+→pγ with 10 billion J/ψ data. The measured value of the branching fraction is lower than the world average by 4.2 standard deviations. Both the branching fraction and decay asymmetry parameter are measured with the most precision to date. The results have been published recently in Physics Review Letters [Phys. Rev. Lett. 130, 211901 (2023)].

  Measurements of the Electric and Magnetic Form Factors of the Neutron The BESIII collaboration recently reported “Measurements of the Electric and Magnetic Form Factors of the Neutron for Timelike Momentum Transfer”, which has been published in Physical Review Letters on 14 April. [Phys. Rev. Lett. 130, 151905 (2023)].

  Observation of a new X(3872) production process e+e-→ ωX(3872) The BESIII collaboration recently reported the first observation of a new X(3872) production process e+e-→ ωX(3872) in the energy region of 4.661-4.951 GeV. The result has been published in Physical Review Letters on April , 2023. [Phys. Rev. Lett. 130, 151904 (2023) ].

  Observation of Three Vector Charmonium-like States decaying into D*0 D*- π+ in e+ e- annihilations The BESIII collaboration recently reported “observations of three vector charmonium-like states with JPC=1-- decaying into D*0D*-π+ produced in e+e- annihilations in the energy range from 4.19 GeV to 4.95 GeV”. The masses of the three resonance states are found to be around 4.21 GeV, 4.47 GeV and 4.68 GeV, respectively, with broad widths larger than 50 MeV. They are candidates of exotic hadrons beyond conventional meson, as no c-cbar charmonium states predicted in quark model are consistent with these new findings. The results have been published in Physical Review Letters on March 23th, 2023. [Phys. Rev. Lett. 130, 121901 (2023)].

  Evidence for the cusp effect in η′ decays into ηπ0π0 The BESIII collaboration has reported the observation of the evidence effect in η′->ηπ0π0. The results are published in the journal Physical Review Letters,130, 081901(2023) on February 24, 2023.

  Study of the Semileptonic decay Λc+ to Λe+νe BESIII recently reported the study of the Cabibbo-favored Semileptonic (SL) decay Λc+ -> Λe+νe [Phys. Rev. Lett. 129, 231803 (2022)], with the largest Λc threshold data sets collected at the center-of-mass energy region between 4.6 GeV and 4.7 GeV.
