Machine-learning-driven observation of the elusive semi-leptonic decay of charmed baryon
The BESIII Collaboration recently reported the first observation of the Cabibbo-suppressed semi-leptonic decay Λc+ -> ne+ve, which employs a novel neutron reconstruction method based on a machine learning technology of Graph Neural Network (GNN). The result has been published in Nature Communications on January 15th, 2025 [Nat. Commun. 16, 681 (2025)].

The BESIII collaboration recently reported a test of Lepton Universality and precise measurement of the Form Factors of D0→K* (892)- μ+ νμ based on 7.93 fb-1 data collected at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV. Extracting the femtometer structure of strange baryons using the vacuum polarization effect
The BESIII collaboration recently reported a method useful for hyperon-antihyperon pairs of different types which exploits the cross section enhancement caused by the vacuum polarization at the J/ψ resonance, enabling a precise determination of the hyperon structure function. The result has been published in Nature Communications on October 11th, 2024 [Nat. Commun. 15, 8812 (2024)].

First search for four-body Ds+ decays to e+e- final states
The BESIII collaboration recently reported the first search for four-body D_s^+ decays to final states including an e+e- pair, based on 7.33 fb-1 data collected in the energy range √s=4.128-4.226 GeV. The results have been published recently in Physics Review Letters on September 17, 2024 [Phys. Rev. Lett. 133, 121801 (2024)].
Strong and weak CP tests in sequential decays of polarized Σ^0 hyperons
The BESIII collaboration reported the first pioneering strong-CP test in hyperon decays based on 10 billion J/ψ and 2.7 billion ψ(3686) data. The results have been recently published in Physical Review Letters on September 4, 2024 (Phys. Rev. Lett. 133 (2024), 101902).
