Associate Professor

My primary research interest is collider physics and advanced detector and electronics technology. As a member of the LHCb collaboration, I'm working on the silicon detector development for experiments at upgraded LHC and future electron-positron collider, and searching for new physics beyond the Standard Model. It is essential that the successful applicant has (or will soon have) a Ph.D. in Nuclear and Particle Physics, and have experience in working in a collaborative environment. It is desirable that the candidates have experience in: ？ C++, Python, and toolkits, such as ROOT, for data analysis ？ detector development and operation, hardware trigger, and DAQ electronics design. FPGA programming skill is an asset. And in addition, an applicant should be willing to work in an international environment.
