Associate professor

MENG Cai is an associate professor in accelerator physics. He works on the physics design of electron and proton Linacs and has experience in research in beam-to-target interactions. At present, the work mainly focuses on the generation and manipulation of high beam quality electrons and the physics related to high gradient accelerating structures, such as plasma Wakefield acceleration and cold copper accelerating structure application.
