BSRF First Dedicated Run in 2015 Ends Smoothly

From June 22 to July 31, 2015, BEPCII/BSRF (Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility) provided the first dedicated run in 2015 to the users. During the run, 14 beamlines and experimental stations were open, 897.81 effective hours were provided, 293 research programs, covering material science, chemistry, environment, life science, geo science and condensed matter physics, were carried out. Users of this run were from 110 research institutions at home, and one from abroad.

With the efforts of the IHEP Accelerator Center, BSRF successfully realized top-up mode operation from July 14 to 16, 2015, reaching internationally advanced level with its beam intensity at 250mA±0.1mA, which was an important milestone for BSRF improving its performance. During the top-up mode, all the beamlines and experimental stations were open to users, who commented that the light source was very stable with excellent experimental results.

BSRF provides experimental time to both basic and applied researches, and essential technical support as well to the key national scientific and technological projects.
