Abstract: Asymptotic safety was originally proposed by Steven Weinberg to find a theory of quantum gravity. Its key ingredient is the existence of a nontrivial ultraviolet (UV) fixed point of the coupling constants of the theory. In this work, we propose a new class of asymptotically safe dark matter models with minimal parameters. We study the phenomenology of the models, and find that they are actually viable in some regions of the parameter space.
