Abstract: To solve the cusp-core problem, self-interacting dark matter (SIDM) is one of the most popular directions nowadays. In this talk, I will explain how a low-energy effective field theory (EFT) can help to constrain the properties of many high-energy SIDM models. As an example, we have set up such a Zero-Range EFT (ZREFT) for SU(2)-triplet wino and have shown its agreement with the full theory at low energy.
