FEDSS (Fast Electronics and Detector Summer School) is a new series of schools being held in Weihai, Shandong Province every two years. It caters to students and researchers in electronics, detector and related fields.

The purpose of the School is to provide young students with an opportunity to learn about recent advances in electronics, detectors and system design from world-leading researchers. It also aims to encourage communications among young researchers from different experiments and different institutions. The School provides courses from an experimental and phenomenological perspective, with a focus on advanced technology in detector and electronics. There are also specialized electronics/detector courses provided for people majoring in physics.
