About the speaker:
Dave Dykstra got his PhD from the University of Illinois in Champaign. He worked for many years for AT&T/Bell Labs/Lucent Technologies and among other things there he maintained their internal software tool distribution system. For the past 10 years he has been working for Fermilab. He is the primary developer for the Frontier Distributed Database system including the frontier-squid software package. He also supports the CernVM 
FileSystem for the Open Science Grid and contributes to CVMFS development.
Abstract: 
Dave will be introduced CernVM-FS and the Frontier distributed database caching system, and to share his management experience.
