Abstract：

2 dimensional QCD is simple but nontrivial, and it is an ideal laboratory to test common ideas in QCD. In this talk, the speaker will give a short review on 2 dimensional QCD in large N limit, then introduce 't hooft's 2 dimensional model for mesons in two different gauges. At last, he will show some results of their recent work, which supports the claim of Bars and Green on the equivalence of two different approaches.
