Abstract:The discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012 was a milestone in particle physics. To maximize the physics outcome from this discovery, it is important to study the properties of the Higgs boson in great detail. Such studies will ultimately deepen our understanding of the fundamental laws of nature, and possibly shed light on physics beyond the standard model. In this talk, the speaker will review recent progresses on the precise calculation of Higgs production cross section, which will be crucial for precise determination of Higgs coupling measurements at the LHC.
