Title: Superconducting RF R&D driven by ILC and its impacts to accelerator projects for nuclear/particle physics and photon sciences

Speaker: RONG-LI GENG(Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility)

Moderator: Prof. GAO Jie

Time: 10 AM, December 10

Place: Room B326, IHEP Main Building

Abstract:

In this talk the speaker will make a detailed review of ILC superconducting RF R&D in the world through RDR till TDR, from scientific R&D to industrialization, and also for the R&D towards 1TeV ILC. As the ILC Superconducting RF technology getting more and more mature, its impact to accelerator projects for nuclear/particle physics and photon sciences becomes more and more obvious, and we will discuss this aspect in detail.
