Both sides had extended discussions over student selection, training and arrangement of internship. The cooperation aims to foster undergraduates who would be interested in high energy physics, and be potentially post-graduates of IHEP.

As a national key university in China, BIT has provided IHEP with a great number of high-quality post-graduates over the recent years. During the meeting, both sides hoped the cooperation could be further strengthened, and it was agreed that IHEP would be involved in the BIT’s undergraduate education by delivering scientific lectures to the BIT students on the most frontier knowledge, BIT professors be invited as guest scientists joining in the scientific research projects at IHEP.
