The BESIII Collaboration meeting was successfully held in the Institute of High Energy Physics from October 25 to 28. More than

150 delegates from 35 collaborating institutes around the world attended this meeting.

The attendees listened to and reviewed the reports, covering BEPCII current status, BESIII summer maintenance, the upgrading goals of TOF, progress of software development, etc. The software adjustment of Monte-carlo simulation and its comparison with physics were also reported. A series of exhilarating physics results was expected to unveil after the meeting.

Two new members from Germany were admitted at the meeting, which extended the list of collaborators to a total of 48. The new members are Johannes Gutenberg University and Helmholtz Institute in Mainz. Some personnel adjustments were also made within the executive committee, auditing committee and international conference committee.

After extended discussions, the Collaboration voted for the data acquisition plans for the next five months. Except for a short period of time allocated for machine studies, most of the five months will be devoted to physics. It is decided that the next collaboration meeting will be held at Nanjing University in June.
