Prof ZHANG Xinmin’s paper among U.S.- listed topcited articles

The U.S.SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory on June 24th, 2010 presented the list of papers written in the period 2005-2009 that received the most citations in 2009. As the only listed theoretical paper from China, the paper Dark energy constraints from the cosmic age and supernova was published in Phys. Lett. B by Prof. ZHANG Xinmin from the Institute of High Energy Physicsin 2005.

According to the statistics, the paper got 101 core citations in 2009. In this paper, a new scenario of dark energy dubbed as Quintom was described, which was the first in the world. Over the recent years, Prof. ZHANG Xinmin and his teammates have conducted a series of studies upon the dark energy dubbed as Quintom. Two other papers published in Mod. Phys. Lett. and Phys. Rev. were  selected as the China’s 100 most influential academic papers in 2007.
