LI Yufeng Won CAS Lu Jiaxi Award for Young Talents

50 young scientists were recently conferred CAS Lu Jiaxi Award for Young Talents. Dr. LI Yufeng from the Center for Multi-disciplinary Research, Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP) is one of those who won the honorary title.
The award was established by CAS to honor young scientists and engineers who are under the age of 35 and who have made great achievements in scientific and technical innovation. This prize awards each winner 50,000 yuan to recognize their contributions and support their future research.
Dr. LI Yufeng has been working with IHEP since he got his doctor degree in 2007. He has joined and undertaken a lot of scientific projects, such as the National Basic Research Program of China(973 Program), the National Natural Science Fund Program, the 6th Framework Program (FP6) and so on. LI has published more than 20 papers in major magazines both at home and abroad, and he is one of the authors for the book Advanced Nuclear Analytical Techniques for Metallomics and Metalloproteomic, which was published by the Royal Society of Chemistry.
