A Five-member-PSI delegation, led by Prof. J. Mesot, Director of PSI, visited IHEP on May 24, 2009 at the invitation of Prof. Chen Hesheng, the Director of IHEP.

　　CHEN Hesheng extended a warm welcome to PSI guests and made a brief introduction about the scientific activities at IHEP. The two parties discussed a wide range of cooperative issues, including spallation neutron sources, synchrotron radiation, ADS and proton therapy. A MOU between PSI and IHEP covering the above areas was signed, which will be a strong framework for future cooperation between the two sides. The PSI guests toured BEPCII and the IHEP workshop.
