The 8^th IHEP-INFN Annual Cooperative Meeting was held at the Institute of High Energy Physics in Beijing, China on May 6th and 7th, 2019. About 40 delegates from both sides attended the meeting.

Prof. Yifang Wang, Director of IHEP opened the meeting with a warm welcome to the INFN delegation hoping that the future collaboration between Italy and China would grow even stronger. Prof. Fernando Ferroni, President of INFN thanked IHEP for the hospitality.

Delegates from both sides gave reports respectively on the status, results and progress of major projects involving collaboration. Discussions was held on subjects including frontier technologies for physics and accelerators, the BESⅢ experiment, the JUNO experiment, the CEPC facility, and perspectives on joint IHEP-INFN technological transfer. The two sides hoped to enhance collaboration in a wider range.
