On August 24, the local government of Dalang Township, Guangdong, and Dongguan Neutron Science Center signed a framework agreement to set up the Dalang Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT). The signing ceremony was held at Dalang Administrative Service Center. The secretary of the Dalang Party committee, Mr. Haoju Hu, together with the director of Dongguan Neutron Science Center, Prof. Yuanbo Chen, and deputy director Mr. Yanwei Chen, attended the ceremony.

DIAT will serve not only as a technology transfer platform but also as an important bridge between the China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) and external companies. It will aim to provide CSNS users with professional customer services, and to display the newest research and development achievements.

DIAT will also provide solid support for industrial development and technological innovation in Dalang. It is believed that DIAT will make great contributions to the industrial transformation of the Dalang area in the future.
