On March 16th, eleven experts were invited to review the preliminary design report of the High Energy Photon Source -Test Facility (HEPS-TF) at the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP).

Mr. Lin Mingjiong, Deputy Director of the Bureau of Facility Support and Budget, Chinese Academy of Sciences introduced the project background and the members of the expert panel. He emphasized that experts should examine the HEPS-TF project preliminary design report in strict accordance with the approval document on HEPS-TF feasibility study report issued by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).

QIN Qing, project manager reported the overall situation and progress of the HEPS-TF project.  Experts acknowledged the progress achieved at HEPS-TF project. They also had detailed discussion over the construction plans of the accelerator, cable stations and experimental stations, as well as the technical details in the preliminary design report. The reviewing comments were of great significance to the future of HEPS-TF project.
