Dr. Borislav Grubor, Director General of the Serbian Vinca Institute of Nuclear Sciences (VINS) delegation and Dr. Ivanka Bozovic-Jelisavcic, Head of the Experimental HEP Group visited the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP)from February 17 to 18, 2016.

WANG Yifang, Director of IHEP, together with scientists in the related fields welcomed the guests and introduced the research fields and future developing plans of IHEP. On Behalf of the CEPC-SppC study group, Prof. GAO Yuanning, Tsinghua University, introduced the CEPC Detector Preliminary design and its future R&D. Prof. GAO Jie introduced the CEPC accelerator design and the international collaboration at CEPC. Dr. Borislav Grubor introduced the institute and made positive remarks on the scientific achievements at IHEP. Dr. Ivanka Bozovic-Jelisavcic introduced high energy programs of VINS and expressed VINS’s high expectations to further strengthen its scientific cooperation with IHEP.

During the discussion, the two sides explored the possible future collaboration at CEPC Project. After the meeting, the VINS guests toured BEPCII and BESIII.

On February 18, IHEP and VINS signed the MOU on CEPC project and this will be a strong framework for future cooperation between the two sides.
