The 2015 annual meeting of the IHEP Laboratory for X-ray Optics and Technology was held at IHEP on December 24, 2015. Scholars from the universities and CAS institutes attended the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Lab Director Dong Yuhui. IHEP Director Wang Yifang made remarks at the meeting, he commented that X-ray optics and technology is one of the key developing directions of IHEP. He required more efforts should be made to develop key technologies and instruments with respect to the construction of HEPS(High Energy Photon Source)in the “13th Five-year Plan”.

Associate Lab Director Liu Peng introduced the progress of the laboratory in 2015. Wang Zhanshan from Tongji University chaired the fourth meeting of the lab’s Science Committee. The attending experts spoke highly of the progress and put forward valuable suggestions to the work of the laboratory.

Dong Yuhui expressed his thanks to the attendees for their valuable suggestions and said the laboratory would make further efforts, striving to become CAS’s key laboratory and key national laboratory at an early date.
