BSRF Second Run in 2015 Accomplished

2015-11-18

The Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility (BSRF) second dedicated run open to users in 2015 lasted from October 16 to November 11. 14 beamlines and experimental stations were involved in providing 604.83 operation hours to users.

During this run, 270 experiments and research projects, covering material science, chemistry, environmental science, life science, condensed matter physics, archaeology and so on, were performed. Except for basic sciences, BSRF and Beijing-Test Facility (TF) also provided operation hours and important technological support to some national key projects. The 109 users were from research institutions at home and two were from abroad.

As BSRF operated on top-up mode during this run, stability and efficiency were greatly improved, which was essential to the experiments. All these had won applause from the users.
