The Pakistan National Centre for Physics(NCP) delegation, headed by its Director General, Dr. Hafeez R. Hoorani visited IHEP on November 16, 2015.

IHEP Director Yifang Wang, together with other directors and scientists in the related research fields warmly welcomed the Pakistan guests and introduced to them the Institute’s research activities. Dr. Hafeez R. Hoorani made positive remarks on the achievements in scientific research at IHEP and expressed NCP’s high expectations to further strengthen its scientific cooperation with IHEP.In the meeting, two sides talked about the JUNO, BESIII, light source, CEPC, LHC and computing technologies.To promote the collaboration, two sides decided to have further discussion in the next days on above projects.

After the meeting, the NCP guests toured BEPCII and BSRF. Besides visit to IHEP, the NCP delegation will also visit some universities and institutions such as Tsinghua University, Peking University and the Institute of Theoretical Physics.
