In 2015, the Beijing-TF successfully completed two rounds of operation open to users, which was synchronized with that of the BSRF (Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility). The first round was from June 23 to July 31, the second round from October 14 to 26 with a total of 1,200 running hours.

During the both runs, many users came with a series of interesting experiments. Among those, the University of CAS, Tsinghua University and the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences were just a few. Among the experiments and tests being performed on the facility, there were the LYSO crystal tests, the THGEM + Well-THGEM（DHCAL）prototype tests, the Gastone ASIC digital readout electronics tests, HIRFL-CSR drift chamber tests, the seed and material radiation tests and so on.

To meet the needs of the top-up mode operation, the TF had optimized its operation plans by efficiently using the beam time and ensuring its stability, making the data-obtaining rate going up by a big margin.
