Daya Bay Analysis Workshop Held at IHEP

2015-10-29

The Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment Collaboration had its second “Daya Bay Analysis Workshop” at IHEP from October 19 to 23, 2015. More than 50 scientists from the collaborating institutions both at home and abroad attended the workshop.

The workshop covered most of the physics analysis involved in the experiment. The workshop discussions were concentrated on the following five topics: measurements of neutrino oscillation, measurements of reactor beam current and spectrum, search for new physics, measurements of hydrogen capture oscillation and cosmic ray muons.

At the workshop, the collaborating groups reported respectively on the progress of their studies. Discussions were held on the targets of the physics analysis. Future working plans and key areas were listed and discussed. In addition, the workshop also discussed paper writing progress and when to be sent for publication, plans for this were made.
