The 2015 Annual Symposium of the Beijing Astronomical Society and the Twelfth Graduate Symposium on Astro-physics between IHEP Center for Particle Astro-physics and Tsinghua Center for Astro-physics was held from October 10 to 12, 2015. 

More than 100 students and teachers from IHEP, Tsinghua University, the Beijing Normal University and the National Astronomical Observatories attended the activities. CAS Academician Li Tipei also attended and addressed the symposium. He encouraged the young students to actively participate in academic exchanges. 

The symposium got 53 talks and papers covering black holes and dark matter, stars and galaxies, cosmology, particle physics and so on. The symposium was divided into nine sessions, which were chaired by young scholars. 

At the end of the meeting, awards were promulgated to the Best Talk and the Best Question of the 2015 Annual Symposium of the Beijing Astronomical Society. The symposiums have been very successful in that they encourage the young students and scholars to study hard and create more valuable work in their studies and researches.
