The 24 RCS dipole magnets completed their magnetic measurements and were recently installed successfully according to schedule, marking a new milestone of CSNS equipment installation. 

The magnet, designed and fabricated for the first time in China, weighs 23.5 tons each. It was only after about 18 months’hard efforts that the production was accomplished. The magnets were tested and measured on CSNS campus, taking about 15 months. The tests and measurements shown that all the key parameters were reached and met the physics requirements.
