Fifth International Symposium on Metallomics Held in Beijing

The Fifth International Symposium on Metallomics, co-sponsored by IHEP and Tsinghua University, was held in Beijing from September 9 to 12, 2015. More than 200 people from 18 countries and regions attended the symposium. 

Prof. Zhang Xinrong of Tsinghua University and Academician Chai Zhifang served as co-chairmen of the symposium. Zhang Xinrong chaired the opening of the symposium and Chai Zhifang made opening remarks. The honorary professor of Nagoya University and the inventor of metallomics, H. Haraguchi and 42 noted scientists from around the world delivered key-note talks at the symposium. 

The symposium is the most influential academic meeting in the field of metallomics. Since 2007, the symposium has been convened in Japan, the United States, Germany and Spain. This is the first time in China.
