Impact Factor of Chinese Physics C Greatly Upgraded
According to the statistics of the 2014 Thomson-Reuters Journal Citation Reports published on June 19th, 2015, the impact factor of the Chinese Physics C run by IHEP, IMP and the Chinese Society of Physics has reached 1.313, which is a 60% upgrade comparing to 0.819 in 2013 and the highest impact factor the journal has achieved so far.
Seven journals have been listed among the fastest developed on IOPP website, the Chinese Physics C is one of those. “The impact factor 1.3 is an important milestone to the journal, it is the result of the lasting efforts of all concerned, especially those of the hosting institutions. ” said Zheng Zhipeng, Chief Editor of the Chinese Physics C.
In recent years, the academic quality and the international impact of the Chinese Physics C have been on the rise. In 2012, it published the AME, important data chart in nuclear physics. In 2013, it managed to join the SCicAPs. Over the past years, it has published a number of important articles with great impact, such as the Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment.
In 2014, the Chinese Physics C through bidding successfully published the PDG, which is expected to further upgrade the impact factor of the journal in the years of 2015 and 2016.
