The CEPC-SppC Working Group Meeting was held at IHEP on May 16-18, 2015. More than 150 experts and young scientists from CAS institutes and universities at home attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed and passed the rules of the CEPC-SppC Working Group and finished the term-changing of the Working Group. GAO Yuanning from Qinghua University was elected as the chair of the institutional committee, WANG Yifang from IHEP was elected as the chair of the steering committee, LOU Xinchou from IHEP was nominated as the project director.

The meeting started with the welcome address by WANG Yifang, the director of IHEP. LOU Xinchou reported on the work of the CEPC Project over the past year. ZHOU Weiren, GAO Yuanning and LIU Tao reported respectively on the work of accelerator, detector and theory, and the plans on the CEPC conceptual design. Representative from the Yellow River Engineering Consulting Co. Ltd (YREC) reported to the meeting on the CEPC civil engineering design.

The meeting was a full success. The efforts of the Working Group on the CEPC conceptual design were well recognized. Targets for the work of next year were discussed and determined. More research institutions and universities expressed the intent to join CEPC, which laid a firm basis for future expansion of the collaboration at home.

WANG Yifang made the summary remarks on the afternoon of May 18th. The meeting agreed that the next Working Group meeting would be in September this year.
