The Bureau of Facility Support and Budget of the Chinese Academy of Sciences organized a review meeting at IHEP on the fourteen key CAS major-science facility maintenance and upgrade projects on March 30-31, 2015.

Academicians Chen Senyu, Xia Jiawen and a dozen other experts joined the review, which aimed to improve management and to see their feasibilities and budgets of the said projects. After serious discussions and consultations, nine out of the fourteen were recommended by the expert panel,

To ensure stable running and to reduce failure rate, IHEP made the project application “Key Equipment Transformation for BEPCII Reliable Operation”. After the expert review, the BEPCII was the first among the nine recommended.
