IHEP participates in China International Nuclear Industry Exhibition

The Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP) presented its latest technology transfer achievements at the 13th China International Nuclear Industry Exhibition from April 15th to 18th.

The items presented included devices and components for nuclear detection, radiation supervision and nuclear medical imaging, all developed at IHEP.

Displayed at the exhibition for the first time were the gamma-ray imager, multidirectional ray positioning system, environmental neutron detector, large-area plastic scintillator and dedicated breast PET scanner, all of which drew widespread attention and interest.

The China International Nuclear Industry Exhibition started in 1989 with the direct support of the Chinese government, and is the first nuclear exhibition of its kind in China. Over the last 24 years, it has become one of the world's largest, as well as the most important technical exhibition for the nuclear industry in China. This year, more than 200 exhibitors from 40 countries presented the latest technology and achievements in the worldwide nuclear energy industry.
