Test results of ADS RFQ Power Source System

parameters.
After eight hours’ conditioning during the test, the PSM Power Supply obtained over 1MW output power, with voltage stability better than 1.2%. The PSM Power Supply, as an essential part of this power source system is developed for the first time in China, and its testing parameters reached the advanced level of the power supply of the same kind in the world.
The power source system was developed by RF Power Source Group of ADS Proton Linear Project. It is used at Injector I RFQ System for ADS Intense Proton Linac, and its successful development signifies another key progress for the project.
The Injector I RFQ Power Source System mainly consists of 325MHz 600kW CW Klystron, 80kV/18A PSM Power Supply, and its related waveguide transmission system. The PSM Power Supply has been jointly developed and manufactured by IHEP and Hefei Leike Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. since 2012, and the on-site installation started in July, 2013.
