On September 23, four foreign guests from the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Belgium visited

Belgian guests call at IHEP

the Institute of High Energy Physics. The ULB group was led by Dr. Pierre Marage, Deputy Director of ULB.

Prof. WANG Huanyu, IHEP Deputy Director extended his warm welcome to the Belgian guests. Dr. CHEN Guoming from the Division of Astroparticle physics introduced the current scientific activities and future plans at IHEP. Dr. Pierre Marage and Dr. Laurent Favart from the Interuniversity Institute for High Energies (IIHE) at ULB reported their on-going research activities.

Both sides had extended discussion on the future cooperation on electrics, CMS project and joint training of the students.After the meeting, the delegation toured the State Key Laboratory of Particle Detection and Electronics at IHEP.
