Wang Yifang and Gao Jie selected members of the new Linear Collider Board

The International Committee for Future Accelerators (ICFA) announced on December 19, 2012 the membership of the new Linear Collider Board (LCB), which as a sub-panel of ICFA will promote and oversee the development of a linear collider and its detectors as a world-wide collaborative project.

WANG Yifang, Director of the Institute of High Energy Physics, and Gao Jie, chief scientist of ILC group at IHEP, were selected as members of the new Linear Collider Board. The new membership was announced by Pier Oddone, the ICFA Chair.

In June, 2012, ICFA announced the appointment of CERN's Lyn Evans as the new Linear Collider Director, who will lead the new organization to bring the two existing large-scale linear collider programs under one governance. The new LCB membership is as follows:
