Korean guests visit BEPCII prototype

 Yifang, Director of IHEP and six other scientists met and discussed with the Korean guests.

At the meeting, Prof. WANG Jiuqing, IHEP’s Associate Director, introduced the current scientific activities at IHEP.

The Korean delegation introduced their plans on heavy iron accelerators in Korea. The possible future collaboration on accelerator field were discussed. Both sides agree to keep in close contact, mutual personnel exchanges will be arranged if need arises.

A tour was arranged for the guests to see the BEPCII central control room, superconducting experimental hall, high frequency hall and cryogenic experimental hall after the discussions.
