A meeting on ARP Information Management System for CAS Pilot Projects took place at IHEP On May 24th. Technicians from the ARP center under the 

on-site operation of the system conducted

 Computer and Network Center, CAS introduced the system's background, its functions and methods of application.

During the meeting, the key users from IHEP Division for Scientific Planning and ADS Project had on-site operation of the system, and delivered feedback to the ARP Center.

CAS has decided to implement the trial run of ARP Pilot Project System at IHEP to test the stability of this system, and to see whether it will satisfy the current needs of data collecting for project management. Accelerator Driven System (ADS) Project, one of the CAS strategic pilot projects, has been chosen for the test.

The Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) establishes the ARP Information Management System for its strategic pilot projects on the basis of ARP General Affairs Management Platform with an aim to enhance and regulate management of the strategic pilot projects. This online system will serve the CAS strategic pilot projects, and scientific research as well.
