The Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP) and Dongguan University of Technology (DGUT) had a signing ceremony in Dongguan on December 23, 2010 to celebrate the birth of a joint laboratory for CSNS electromechanical technology R&D, which aims to promote mutual cooperation on mechanical and related technologies.

IHEP and DGUT signed a strategic cooperation agreement in October, 2009, having provided a framework for the foundation of the joint laboratory. It will advance further development of DGUT and the local enterprises and strengthen mutual cooperation in technology transfer and talent training, as well as offer support to the experiment facilities.

By reaching the agreement, it is hoped that the existing cooperation between the two parties will be further enhanced in an all-round way.
