Postdoctoral Position in Neutrino Physics (JUNO 0νββ Program)

Research Directions: This position is under the joint supervision of the groups of Profs. WEN Liangjian, LI Gaosong, and Ostrovskiy Igor. The successful candidate will work on the JUNO (Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory) neutrinoless double-beta decay (0νββ) program.

Qualifications: PhD in Physics or a related field (must be obtained prior to the start of the appointment). Proficiency in Python and C++ for data analysis and simulation is required. Prior experience with applying machine learning algorithms and Geant4 MC framework is preferred.

Good communication skills and ability to work in an international collaboration environment.

The primary work location will be the IHEP main campus in Beijing.

Salary and Benefits: This position offers a competitive salary. Outstanding candidates will be supported in applying for project funding and additional scholarships from the Chinese Academy of Sciences / IHEP. Postdoctoral researchers who demonstrate exceptional performance may be recommended for promotion to tenure-track faculty positions at IHEP.

The initial appointment is for two years, with the possibility of renewal based on performance. Earlier start dates will be given preference.
