Postdoctoral Fellow Positions at TPCSF, CAS
The Theoretical Physics Center for Science Facilities (TPCSF) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in Beijing was formally launched on September 6, 2007 by the CAS in order to enhance the capabilities of scientific researches associated with the large-scale research facilities, especially those in China. It is hosted by the Theoretical Physics Division of the Institute of High Energy Physics, CAS, and is a research center with strong emphasis on bringing theoretical scientists from particle physics, nuclear physics, astrophysics, cosmology or the physics based on synchrotron light sources together to pursue the high-quality research in theoretical physics, particularly in frontier physics connected with large-scale research facilities.
The TPCSF invites applications to fill 4 postdoctoral fellow positions. The initial appointment of the position is 2 years. This position could be promoted to a non-tenured research associate position after an evaluation at the end of the appointment. The annual salary for this position is negotiable and will depend on the research experiences.
Candidates with a Ph.D. in particle physics, nuclear physics, cosmology, astrophysics or the physics based on synchrotron light source are encouraged to apply by sending their CV, a brief research summary, a list of publications, future research plans, and two or three reference letters to the following address:
