The IHEP CMS group has contributed significantly to the endcap muon system, and now involves in the phase 2 upgrades, e.g. forward ECAL upgrade and L1 trigger upgrade projects. The group also works on data analyses on Higgs, top and B-physics related topics.

The IHEP AMS group has contributed significantly to AMS magnet system. The group's physics analyses focus on topics of electron and positron fluxes, proton and helium fluxes, Boron-to-Carbon ratio, anisotropies of cosmic-ray, photon measurement, or anti-proton ratio and spectrum.

The successful candidates are expected to play leading roles in one of the following research areas:

1. Operation, detector upgrade and data analysis with the CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider.

2. Operation and data analysis with the AMS experiment at CERN.

Qualifications

1. Under the age of 40, the age limit can be extended to 45 for extraordinarily excellent applicant;

2. Four consecutive years’ experience in overseas scientific researches after receiving a Ph.D.;

3. Reach the academic level of a Research Fellow;
