　　We are proud and happy to host the 32nd International Conference on High Energy Physics (ICHEP'04) -the largest scientific gathering in the high energy physics community - scheduled to be held from August 16 to 22, 2004 at the Beijing International Convention Center (BICC).

 

　　Founded in 1950, our institute (Institute of High Energy Physics) is now one of the largest scientific institutions for basic research in China with a staff of about 1100. With the successful completion of the Beijing Electron Positron Collider (BEPC) in 1988, the past dozen years or so have witnessed a swift development of high energy physics research in China. We are looking forward to the scientific exchanges through the conference .
