The China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) offers neutron beamtime to all qualified users. The proposal round in the first half of 2023 is from February 2023 to June 2023.
Dr. Yin Wen was awarded the 2020 National Woman Pace-setter.
Applications are now open for Ph.D. positions.
The China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS), a large scientific facility located in Guangdong, China, passed its national acceptance on August 23, which signified that the facility was officially open to worldwide users in various disciplines.
On November 9, CSNS has made another big progress. The average beam power is achieved 10 kW when the proton beam with a repetition rate of 25 Hz collided on the tungsten target. This means the parameter of the average beam power has met the acceptance goal of the CSNS project.
The neutron beam was successfully obtained for the first time at the China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) on 28th August.
The China Spallation Neutron Source is expected to produce its first beam in 2017. Hesheng Chen and Xun-Li Wang provide an overview of this user facility and what it means for science in China and elsewhere.
Secretary of the Municipal Dongguan Committee of the CPC, Lv Yesheng stepped into the China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) as his first official visit. IHEP Director Wang Yifang and CSNS Project Manager Chen Hesheng received Mr. Lv and other officers.
