TSV Pixel Array Detector Engineering Prototype Successfully Developed.

The TSV pixel array detector engineering prototype, composed of 18 modules, was manufactured successfully and the gap between the modules was reduced from 9mm to 2.5mm.

HEPS stability evaluation report was approved by Huai’rou District.

2017

 

Dec. 15, 2017

The HEPS project proposal was officially approved by the National Development and Reform Commission.

Sept. 5, 2017

The appraisal result of the HEPS project park planning and architectural design proposal were announced, and the top one plan from the China Electronics Engineering Design Institute, the “Scientific Aircraft Carrier” (later renamed “Microscopic World”), was selected for the feasibility report. The plan was submitted to Chinese Academy of Sciences and Beijing in Oct. 2017 and Jan. 2018 respectively, and was approved by the Beijing Municipal Government in Mar. 2018.

Mar. 6, 2017

The HEPS beamline station selection meeting was held to select 14 beamline stations for the first phase of construction.

Feb. 23-24, 2017

The HEPS civil concept design review meeting was held and the infrastructure design proposal for the HEPS project was selected.

2016

 

Dec. 23, 2016

HEPS was included in the “13 th Five-Year Plan for Major National Science and Technology Infrastructure Construction”.
