CSNS Develops ECR Proton Source for BNCT Date: 2022-07-08 Author: Recently the CSNS boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) group has reached a milestone by accomplishing the development of the ECR proton source, a core equipment of the BNCT clinical device. The technology used in ECR proton source was borrowed from the ion source at CSNS. The ECR proton source alongside other equipment will be installed in the BNCT Center of Dongguan People's Hospital for future clinical trials and medical research.
