A delegation from the University of Malaya (UM) in Malaysia, led by Prof. Zanariah Abdullah, Dean of the Faculty of Science, visited CSNS on April 12, 2017. Prof. Chen Yanwei, Director of CSNS, received the guests.
Prof. Chen Yanwei extended warm welcome to the UM delegation, and invited the guests to join a discussion with the CSNS scientists. Prof. Wang Sheng briefly introduced the CSNS project, including the construction status and future research plans. Prof. Zanariah Abdullah was very interested in the CSNS project, and she would be more than happy to promote scientific exchange and collaboration with CSNS.
After the meeting, the UM guests visited the Linac Tunnel, the RCS Tunnel and the Target Station.
The University of Malaya (UM) is the foremost and premier Research University (RU) in Malaysia.
