March 17, 2017. Mr. David Matthews, Associate Director of Drug Discovery  Department of the UK Medical Research Counsil Technology (MRCT) and Mr. Zhang Zhi, Business Manager of MRCT, accompanied by the officers from Songshan Lake High-tech Zone Administrative Committee, had a short-time visit to CSNS. Prof. Chen Yanwei and Prof. Zhang Junrong recieved the guests.

A tour of CSNS was arranged for the delegation. They visited the CSNS sandbox and the target station. Prof. Zhang Junrong briefly introduced the distribution of CSNS, as well as the principles and the future application of this project. 

The delegation of MRCT expressed a great interest in cooperating with CSNS. "We have worked with ISIS back in the UK," Said Mr. Matthews, "It's amazing that China is building such a fantastic facility too. I can see a lot of future cooperations with CSNS."
