The beamline No. 14 is the very small-angle neutron scattering instrument. It is designed to provide strong support for industry users in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao to conduct basic and applied scientific research. It is expected to have the following applications:

Polymer and supramolecular: polymer processing, deformation, functional polymers, self-assembly and interactions, supramolecular structure and dynamics;

Biomacromolecules: assemblies of biomacromolecules, biomedicine, food science;

Porous materials and defect structure: carbon fiber, shale, porous adsorption hydrogen storage materials, etc;

Advanced functional materials: aerospace alloy materials, metal glass, nano magnetic materials, etc.
